Mixology: Cocktails

Cat Cora's Ouzo-tini

Serves 2

4 ounces Pomegranate juice

4 ounces Pineapple juice

2 ounces Metaxa Ouzo

2 ounces Absolut Vodka

1 teaspoon fresh Lime juice

2 Lime slices 


Serve in a sugar-rimmed glass add lime wheels to top it off.

One of our favorite cocktails.

Pear Martini

Serves 1 (also available at WDW Cape May Cafe,

Disney’s Beach/Yacht Club, and Cat Cora’s Kouzzina)

3/4 ounce Hendrick's Gin 

3/4 ounce Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch

2 ounces Pear Nectar/Juice

1/2 ounce Agave Syrup (a sweetener made from agave plant)

1/2 ounce fresh lemon or lime juice

Add a slice of fresh pear or a lemon/lime wheel to top it off.

The Side Car Cocktail

Serves 1

Though not a Disney magical cocktail, this classic is a special favorite during the winter season.

1 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
2 ounces Remy Martin VSOP
1 Tablespoon raw sugar

Shake with ice, strain and garnish with a lemon twist or orange wedge. Enjoy that feeling of sitting at a quiet bistro with your lover.

Tropical Mango Margarita

Serves 1 (This is a non-frozen version of the Malawi Mango Margarita from Sanaa Restaurant Walt Disney World.)

2 ounces Milargo Silver Tequila

1 ounce Bacardi White Rum (or substitute 1/2 Oz of Malibu Coconut Rum)

4 ounces Mango Juice (use Maaza if available)

3/4 ounce Fresh Lemon Juice


Garnish with a slice of orange and a lemon wheel.

Painted Lemur Dessert Cocktail

Serves 1 (Served at Sanaa restaurant Walt Disney World, Animal Kingdom Villas Kidani Village)  Here is your own lemur you can curl up with!)


2 ounces Amarula Cream Liquor (made from South African elephant tree fruit)

2 ounces Cointreau


Use Hersey’s chocolate syrup to draw a “lemur tail” around the inside of a Martini Glass.  Mix above and pour into the prepared glass.

Xante Sunshine

Serves 1  (This recipe is similar to the one at the 2011 EPCOT food and Wine Festival)

2 ounces of Xante Cognac
1/4 ounce elderflower syrup (Available at IKEA)
1 ounce fresh lime juice
3 ounces of fresh lemonade

Shake and serve chilled with or without ice.

Tangerine Mimosa Royale

Serves 1

½ ounce Cointreau
4 ounces Moet White Star or Chandon Brut Champagne

2 ounces fresh Orange Juice

Mix and serve in champagne glass.

Mai Tai — Tambu Lounge Polynesian Resort

Serves 1

1 ½  ounce Myers Dark Rum 
2 ounces orange juice 
2 ounces pineapple juice 
2 ounces Sour Mix 
½ ounce lime juice 
3/4 ounce Amaretto (or use ½ ounce Torani Orgeat (Almond) Syrup)

½ ounce Bacardi Select (as a floater)

Garnish with pineapple and orange wedges.

Golden Gate Cocktail
Serves 1

1 1/4 ounce Remy Martin VSOP Cognac
3/4 ounce Amaretto Disaronno
1/2 ounce cranberry juice
orange slice for garnish

Shake with ice, then strain into a martini glass. Garnish with orange slice.
Superfruit Sangria Cocktail

Serves 1


4 oz of Eppa Superfruta Sangria

1 oz of VeeV Acai Spirit

1 oz of sparkling water

Add all to an ice filled collins glass.


Sit back and enjoy the tropical breeze!
